I'm inspired by the amount of strength, persistence, and resistance that people have despite what they are up against. There are many stories of resistance to colonialism but resistance to me means treating each other well and not being afraid to challenge the ways of thinking that divide us e.g. challenging racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism etc. I believe that as people we can move a lot farther ahead if we change the linear ways of thinking that work to divide us and we must see how we... The issues that matter to me most are good governance, youth, and information technology given that they have had an immense impact on poverty eradication initiatives all over the world.
